Bio
Grace Saab is our Educational Psychologist with a B.A. in Psychology from the American University of Beirut, an MSc in Business Psychology from the University of East London, and a Graduate Certificate in Addiction and Mental Health from Durham College in Canada. She brings over six years of professional experience in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and behavioural therapy, working with children with special needs, developmental differences, behavioural challenges, and complex emotional needs. She specializes in behavioural assessment, individualized intervention planning, emotional regulation, communication, positive behaviour support, and developing meaningful therapeutic relationships with children and families. Grace has extensive experience supporting children with emotional regulation, communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviour, while developing and implementing individualized behavioural interventions tailored to their specific needs. She works collaboratively with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary professionals to promote meaningful progress and provide comprehensive support. In addition to her behavioural health background, Grace has specialized clinical experience in Mental Health and Addictions Counselling. During her clinical placement in Canada, she worked within a substance use treatment setting, gaining experience in client intake and assessment, treatment planning, case documentation, group facilitation, case conferences, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, and supporting individuals through different stages of recovery. Grace takes a compassionate, collaborative, client-centred, and trauma-informed approach to her work. She believes that effective support begins with understanding the person behind the behaviour and strives to create a safe and non-judgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. Her approach integrates evidence-based psychological, behavioural, and counselling principles while considering each individual’s experiences, strengths, needs, and goals. Grace’s professional interests include mental health and addictions, behavioural difficulties, emotional regulation, anxiety and mood-related concerns, trauma-informed practice, child and adolescent behavioural health, and supporting individuals and families through periods of psychological and behavioural change. She is passionate about helping individuals recognize their strengths, develop effective coping strategies, build healthier patterns, and work toward greater emotional well-being and meaningful change.
