Esperance Joukayem, MSc

Esperance is a licensed clinical psychologist with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and Pathology – Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy from Saint Joseph University of Beirut. She brings a strong evidence-based approach to therapy, grounded in CBT and informed by her diverse clinical experience across hospital, and community settings. Esperance has worked with adolescents and adults presenting with anxiety disorders, depression, emotional regulation difficulties, trauma-related concerns. She is particularly skilled in helping clients identify unhelpful thinking patterns, build emotional resilience, and develop practical coping strategies that foster long-term change. In addition to her clinical practice, Esperance serves as a school counselor and Child Protection Officer, where she supports students emotional well-being, provides crisis intervention, and collaborates closely with families, educators, and specialists. Her background also includes experience in psychiatric settings, addiction-focused rehabilitation programs, and post-catastrophe psychological interventions.
