Course Description
Adolescence is a key stage in human development characterized by rapid physical, emotional, and social changes. During this period, teenagers are often exposed to misinformation, peer pressure, and unfiltered online content, making accurate sexual education essential.
This 1.5-hour online training is designed to help parents and caregivers understand how to approach sexual education for teenagers in a clear, supportive, and developmentally appropriate manner.
The session will cover key components of sexual education for teenagers, including:
• Understanding adolescent sexual and emotional development
• How to initiate and maintain open conversations about sexuality with teenagers
• Addressing consent, boundaries, relationships, and peer pressure
• Discussing digital exposure, social media, and online safety
• Responding to teenagers’ questions in a non-judgmental and supportive way
• Promoting healthy attitudes toward relationships, respect, and self-awareness
Participants will gain practical communication tools and guidance to support teenagers in developing accurate knowledge, healthy values, and responsible decision-making regarding sexuality.
This workshop is designed for parents, caregivers, and individuals interested in supporting adolescents’ healthy sexual and emotional development.
