Course Description
Sexual education is a crucial component of a child’s overall development, yet many parents feel uncertain about how and when to address this topic. Misconceptions, discomfort, or lack of accurate information can lead to avoidance, inconsistent messaging, or missed opportunities to guide children in a healthy and age-appropriate manner.
This 1.5-hour online training is designed to support parents in understanding how to approach sexual education with confidence, clarity, and sensitivity.
The session will cover key components of sexual education for parents, including:
• Understanding age-appropriate sexual development in children
• How to communicate openly and effectively about body awareness and boundaries
• Teaching children about consent, privacy, and personal safety
• Addressing common questions and misconceptions about sexual education
• Supporting children in developing a healthy and respectful understanding of their bodies and relationships
• Responding to challenging situations and questions in a developmentally appropriate way
Participants will gain practical tools and guidance to approach sexual education in a way that is informative, supportive, and aligned with their child’s developmental needs.
This workshop is designed for parents, caregivers, and individuals interested in promoting healthy development and open communication with children.
